Ingredients for for the Cauliflower Steak and Cauliflower Wings
- 1 fresh cauliflower
- 1 egg
- 5 tablespoons corn panko flour
- some canola oil
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tsp. paprika powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- some herb salt
Preparation of the Cauliflower Steak and Cauliflower Wings
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees convection. Wash the cauliflower and remove the green leaves, but not the stalk.
Step 2
Cut the cauliflower into slices about 1 cm thick. Collect the cauliflower florets that come loose in a bowl.
Step 3
Boil the cauliflower slices in water for about 3-4 minutes. Take the slices out of the water and let them drain a little.
Step 4
In the meantime, you can prepare the cauliflower wings. Put some canola oil in a bowl and stir in the paprika powder, cumin and some herb salt well. Then marinate the cauliflower florets in it and spread them on a baking sheet. The cauliflower wings should be baked in the oven for about 20 minutes.
Step 5
While your cauliflower wings are baking in the oven, you can prepare the cauliflower steaks. Whisk an egg in a deep dish. Put the corn panko flour in a second deep dish. Turn the cooled cauliflower slices first in the egg and then in the corn panko flour.
Step 6
Add 1 tablespoon coconut oil to a skillet and fry the cauliflower steaks until golden brown on both sides.
Step 7
You can serve the cauliflower steak and cauliflower wings with a vegan yogurt dip and serve with brown rice and tofu.

You can also marinate your cauliflower wings with other herbs and spices. Try out which combinations are perfect for you.
