Preparation of the Healthy Crunchy Muesli with Wild Berries
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 160 degrees convection. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
Step 2
Mix the rolled oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seed, almonds, cashews, sesame seeds, shredded coconut, cinnamon and a pinch of sea salt in a bowl until well combined.
Step 3
Melt the coconut oil with the rice malt in a saucepan over low heat.
Step 4
Add the warmed liquid to the dry oatmeal mixture and mix well.
Step 5
Spread the wet mixture on a baking tray and press down a little. Then bake the crunchy muesli in the oven at 160 degrees convection for 30 minutes. Please make sure that the mixture does not get too dark.
Step 6
Allow the crunchy granola to cool completely and break into small pieces. Finally, mix in the dried berries.
Tip:
You can also mix raisins or other dried fruit into the crunchy muesli instead of dried berries. The crunchy muesli can also make a very nice little gift. Just fill it into small jars and label it with pretty labels. Muesli is especially good for keeping on hand in the kitchen. However, to keep your homemade muesli nice and crunchy, make sure you store it in an airtight container.
