Whether to enhance pasta, in homemade spreads or on a healthy piece of bread – our homemade pesto is a fine addition to numerous dishes. And the best part – homemade pesto is not only very healthy, but consists of only a few ingredients and is very quick to prepare. Depending on the season and your preferences, you can prepare your pesto with different herbs and spices individually. We have enhanced our recipe variant of the vegan pesto with fresh parsley and walnuts.
You will notice that homemade pesto is much more aromatic and high-quality than store-bought pesto. The common pestos from the supermarket do not contain high-quality oil and many added flavors and harmful substances.
Always and in any case we recommend you to buy herbs in organic quality, so that your pesto is free of pesticides and other harmful substances. You can also easily grow herbs in your own garden.
There are no limits to your taste buds when it comes to ingredients – try out which combinations are perfect for you.
